Osprey’s Mutant 38 is one of the popular climbing-specific packs in the series. A little more space than the smaller version, it allows for expended expeditions while still being lightweight for fast-moving on the mountain. The main access point is through a floating and removable top lid, which means you can overload your pack or remove the lid for greater head clearance and less weight. The built-in FlapJacket provides a weatherproof closure to keep gear fully compressed. Also included in the top pocket is a rapid deploy mesh helmet storage pouch. The hipbelt is reverse-wrap with integrated gear loops to deliver choice of comfort, minimalism or gear racking options.
